Glafkos was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. He read law at the University of Kent, England, and was awarded a BA Honours Degree in Law and Business in 2005 and an LLM Honours Degree in 2006. He completed the Bar Vocational Course at the University of Law in London and was called to the Bar in 2008 as a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
In 2008, he joined M&M as a trainee advocate and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2009.
Glafkos acts as legal counsel to multi-national and international groups of companies, financial institutions, and shipowners. advising them on matters of Cypriot company law, commercial law and employment law.
He represents and advises clients entering into complex international asset financing transactions, including aviation and corporate finance.
Throughout his career, he has also been involved in joint venture structures, corporate governance advice and non-contentious employment matters.
